Lynn Chang (also known as Hsuan Jung Chang) is an American author and illustrator known for illustrated humor, activity, and gift books published by Chronicle Books, Andrews McMeel Publishing, Universe Publishing, and other publishers. Her work includes titles such as Where Cats Sleep, Costumes for Your Cat, and The Break-Up Activity Book. Several of her books focus on animals and humorous observations about everyday life.

Early life and education
Chang studied mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan and later received a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University.
Career
Chang began her career working in consumer product development and marketing, including work in the toy industry and consumer packaged goods.
She later became known for a series of illustrated books combining humor, crafts, and animal themes. Her books have been published by Chronicle Books, Andrews McMeel Publishing, Universe Publishing, Prospect Park Books, and other publishers.
Chang has appeared in media discussing her work, including a television segment on KTLA Morning News with anchor Michaela Pereira related to The Break-Up Activity Book: Crafting Your Way Through a Broken Heart.[1]
Her book Dogs Don’t Care, Dogs Poo Everywhere! received coverage in Midwest Book Review.[2]
