History
In 2025, it was announced that Katherine Romans and Charlie Traisman had formally launched Madhouse Films, with a mission to "center underrepresented voices and push creative boundaries across film and television."[5] It was also reported that the company was developing Meredith Alloway's sophomore feature, Huckleberry Babe[2], and executive producing Manhood, Daniel Lombroso's documentary on penis enlargement (originally titledYou'll Be Happier).[2][4]
In January 2026, Madhouse Films hosted Autonomy in Focus, a fundraiser in support of the New York Abortion Access Fund at the Cherry Lane Theatre in Manhattan. The event was co-chaired by actresses AnnaSophia Robb, Havana Rose Liu, Lola Tung, Ruby Jean Cruz, Louisa Jacobson, and Rachel Hilson.[6]
