Majid Alghaslan is a Saudi Arabian technology executive who served as interim chief information officer of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). In 2008, Reuters reported that he was in charge of the acquisition, design and development of the university's Shaheen supercomputer.[1][2]

In 2007, Alghaslan was identified by Arab News as KAUST's interim chief information officer and the lead organizer of the KAUST IT Summit on next-generation cyber-infrastructure.[3]
In 2008, Reuters reported that Alghaslan was in charge of the acquisition, design and development of the Shaheen supercomputer at KAUST.[4] The second-generation system, Shaheen II, ranked tenth on the June 2016 TOP500 list of the world's fastest supercomputers.[5]
In 2025, The National identified Alghaslan as chairman and chief executive of Front End, a technology company involved in advanced air mobility projects in Saudi Arabia.[6]
