Margaret H. Graves is an American computer scientist[1] who served as the Deputy Federal Chief Information Officer of the United States within the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), an executive office to the white house.[2]

Education
Graves holds a M.B.A. from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Virginia.[2]
Career
In 2016, Graves joined Office of Management and Budget, after acting as principal deputy CIO to the US Department of Homeland Security. During her time in the OMB, she oversaw an IT portfolio of $5.4 billion in programs.[2] In 2019, she left the OMB to work in the private sector.[3] She later became a Visiting Fellow at the IBM Center for the Business of Government, and is now a Senior Fellow for the center.[4][5]
