Marie Glassl (*1991) is a dramaturg, author and publisher working on the concept of translation. A particular focus of her work are materialities and materializations of linguistic subjectivity and early Italian feminist tradition in the arts and literature.[1]

After studies in comparative literature, philosophy, and political science in Frankfurt am Main and Venice, and a long term collaboration with the Biennale di Venezia, she has worked with numerous interdisciplinary artists, international festivals and institutions from dance, theater, and performance.[2][3][4]
Glassl is artistic program director of DIAPHANES literature as well as editor of the works of Alice Ceresa[5] and the series aktion_fiktion, a series of poetic-performative interventions, president of the board of the Zurich-based poiesis Foundation and chair of the Scuola di Proteo, an independent art and research institution in Murano/Venice where she initiates multi-year topics and transdisciplinary projects addressing aesthetic and discoursive issues in collaboration with artists, scientists, and authors.
She is co-editor of DIAPHANES magazine, where she also presents a series of interviews with current figures in art and discourse,[6][7] and regularly writes and speaks on literary and aesthetic issues.[8][9][10]
Glassl translates poetry and political theory. Her work has been supported by numerous scholarships and residencies.[11]
