Comment: For a place/village, the relevant criteria is here: WP:NPLACE - it isn't too difficult to resolve this since is a presumption of notability, so long as it is officially deemed a population centre of some sort, and crucially there is a reliable source that says so. So for example it is listed in the national census or is identified as a village by a local authority. There is a population of 63 listed, so whatever the source of that information could be sufficient. Otherwise WP:GNG can be used but that's much more work.So a little bit more work and then the article can be accepted. ChrysGalley (talk) 13:01, 5 December 2025 (UTC)

Geography
Mesathouri is part of the municipal unit of Andros (Chora), in the South Aegean region.
The village is located in the central-eastern part of Andros, one of the northern Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. It stands at an elevation of approximately 250 metres above sea level on the slopes of Mount Petalo, in a valley with terraced hillsides, running streams, and traditional stone houses
Mesathouri is situated about 2.5 kilometres west of the island’s capital, Chora, and is near other small villages, including Lamyra to the south, Menites to the southwest, and Strapouries to the northwest. The area contains freshwater springs and cultivated gardens.
The village is connected to Chora and the central road network by local roads. It also lies along the route of Andros Trail 10, a long-distance hiking path linking Mesathouri with Apikia and the Sáriza spring area to the north.[2]
Attractions
A notable monument within the settlement is the Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos (Greek: Ναός Κοίμησης της Θεοτόκου), listed by the Ephorate of Antiquities of the Cyclades as a monument of local heritage interest.[3]
Mesathouri also lies directly on the route of Andros Route 10, one of the island’s marked hiking trails maintained by the Andros Routes network. The path connects the hamlet with the neighbouring villages of Strapouries and Apikia, passing by the well-known Sáriza spring and offering views of terraced valleys and old stone bridges.[1]
