Academics
The academic session of the school begins in April each year, while the admission process is generally conducted from August to November. Children are admitted at the Lower Nursery level (age 3+), and thereafter progress through Upper Nursery (age 4+) and Kindergarten (age 5+). From the primary stage, students advance through successive classes up to the ICSE level (Class X), with multiple sections in each grade.
The school is permanently affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi, for both ICSE (Class X) and ISC (Class XII). The ICSE section prepares students for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination, while the ISC section offers higher secondary education to students who have successfully completed ICSE or an equivalent examination.
At the senior secondary level (Classes XI and XII), the school provides three academic streams: Science, Commerce, and Humanities (Arts), enabling students to choose according to their interests and career goals.[2]
In addition to English as the primary medium of instruction, the school offers Bengali, Hindi, and Lushai as second language options. The curriculum also includes Bible Studies and Value Education, emphasizing moral development alongside academics.
The institution promotes environmental awareness and takes pride in being an eco-friendly campus, encouraging students to develop a sense of responsibility towards nature.
Facilites
The school campus is spread across more than two acres and is owned by the Dankuni Coal Complex of South Eastern Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited under the Ministry of Coal, Government of India.

It features spacious, well-ventilated, and properly illuminated classrooms, along with a well-stocked and modern library. Students benefit from a large green playground, while younger children have access to a secure enclosed lawn for play.
Additional facilities include a covered area for morning assembly, a maintained garden, clean drinking water through purifiers and coolers, and a canteen serving both students and staff. The school also houses advanced, air-conditioned computer labs equipped with modern technology, as well as fully furnished science laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
A notable feature of the campus is a large, modernized chapel located on the second floor. For accessibility, a ramp connects the ground floor to the first floor, ensuring ease of movement within the building.[3]
