Michael Worden earned a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from the State University of New York in Oneonta. He completed a Master of Arts from the Union Institute & University. Subsequently he entered the MBA programme at Rutgers University.[1]
Worden has built a presence in the music business in licensing, rights administration, catalogue development, and business. He joined Alfred Music Publishing where he worked and had the position Manager of Business Affairs. In that job, he administered licensing agreements for catalogues like ABKCO Music & Records Inc., Warner Bros. Discovery, and Warner-Chappell Music.[2]
