In March 2026, it was reported that Kang Ha-neul had been offered the lead role of the series. If cast, the role would mark Kang's first medical drama since his 2007 debut. The series is an adaptation of a 2022 web novel of the same name by Dowon and is being developed for a potential 2027 broadcast on MBC.[1]
