History
It was built sometime before 1902, as seen in a photograph from that year,[1] under the name Fábrica de Tecidos de Linho de Guimarães.[3]
The factory's history took a new turn in 1963 when it was acquired by Herculano & Pimenta S.A., founded by Herculano José Fernandes that same year,[4] which operated and owned it for six decades, until the complex's demolision.
The factory and storage buildings were demolished in 2020 to create new access roads and a new Mercadona shop.[2]
