Mohkom Singh Bhangal, known professionally as Money Musik, is a Canadian record producer and songwriter from Toronto.[1] He is a frequent collaborator of rapper Nav and has contributed to multiple Billboard 200 number-one albums, including Bad Habits (2019) and Good Intentions (2020).[2][3] His work on the 2020 album Not By Chance by AP Dhillon and Gurinder Gill was instrumental in bringing North American trap production styles to the Punjabi music mainstream.[4]

Early life
Career
2017–2018: Career beginnings
Bhangal's early production work included tracks for Toronto-based artists such as Pressa, K. Money, WhyG, Casper TNG, and LB Spiffy.[1][3] In 2018, he collaborated with 88Glam on the track "I'm Fresh," featuring Nav, which helped establish his professional relationship with the XO collective.[1]
2019–present: Chart success
In 2019, Bhangal served as a primary producer on Nav's second studio album, Bad Habits, producing 14 of the album's tracks.[1] The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.[2] He contributed further to Nav's 2020 follow-up, Good Intentions, which also reached the top of the Billboard charts.[3]
In late 2020, Bhangal co-produced the entirety of the album Not By Chance for Punjabi artists AP Dhillon and Gurinder Gill.[5][4] The album was a significant commercial success, with its tracks dominating the UK Asian Music Charts.[6] Bhangal is noted for a high volume of output, reporting that he composed over 1,000 beats in 2020 alone.[1]
