The Nigerian Genocide is an alleged[2] genocide targeting the Christians in Nigeria, perpetrated by various Islamist militant groups, including the Islamic State and Boko Haram. Since 2000, over 62,000 Christians and 34,000 Muslims have been killed in Nigeria by Boko Haram, Islamic State – West Africa Province (ISWAP), and Fulani militants.[3]
