Noah Yosif is an American economist and researcher who serves as the Chief Economist and Head of Research at the American Staffing Association.

Education

After receiving his Associate of Arts degree from Harper College, Yosif received both his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and his Master of Arts degree in Applied Economics from The George Washington University.

In 2022, he earned a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.

Early Career

Yosif started his career at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics as an economist. During his time at BLS, he penned a joint analysis with Michael Brill, Corey Holman, Chris Morris, and Ronjoy Raichoudhary on labor productivity and the compensation gap.

In 2019, he joined the International Community Bankers of America as an economist. There, he provided analysis on PPP loans and the role of community banks in the economy, with his analysis appearing in outlets such as Morningstar.

Yosif joined the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions in December 2022. His research and analysis appeared in Auto Finance News, American Banker, and Marketplace.

American Staffing Association

Yosif was appointed Chief Economist and Head of Research for the American Staffing Association in December 2023.

In this role, he oversees economic and policy research related to the staffing and recruiting industry. He also represents ASA on the Economic Affairs Committee of the World Employment Confederation.

Yosif has been quoted in reporting on labor market conditions and economic policy by The New York Times, where he commented on hiring trends amid trade policy uncertainty. [1]. His analysis has also appeared inBloomberg[2], and CNN Business[3].
