  • Comment: Shows clear signs of WP:AIATTR. Linked with that - it is not possible for a subject to talk or write their way to notability, what matters is what other people say of the subject, see the WP:GOLDENRULE. So interviews and going on TV counts for nothing here, what would matter is an independent profile in a reliable source with significant coverage of the subject and their career. TCK is among the first companies in Korea, and the first foreign-owned firm, to introduce the multi-family office model to Korea, providing discretionary investment management and advisory services to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and professional investors.[4][5][6][7]

Under Topor’s leadership, TCK received the WealthBriefingAsia Awards in 2024 and 2025, reflecting its role in South Korea’s wealth management sector.[8][9]

Early life and education

Topor was born in 1979 in Tel Aviv, Israel. His father, Yakov Topor, is the founder of Integrated Electronic Industries and holds a patent as one of the first engineers to develop the "sleep mode" function for personal computers.[10][11] He is the eldest of three brothers; his younger brother Ben Topor was recognized in Forbes' 30 Under 30 Israel list in the finance sector and is the founder of Titan Capital Partners, a growth equity and secondary fund.[12][13]

At the age of four, his family relocated to the United States, returning to Israel six years later. He grew up in Tel Aviv and served in the Israel Defense Forces. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tel Aviv University before completing his MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business in California, United States.[1][10]

Career

Square Capital

Prior to founding TCK, Topor was with Square Capital, an investment management firm based in London and Paris.[1][14]

TCK Investments

In 2012, Topor established TCK Investments in Seoul, South Korea, to provide multi-family office services in response to demand for global asset allocation among high-net-worth individuals. The firm was established with the guidance of Howard Marks, who has served on the board of Topor & Co. Limited for several years and continues to serve as senior advisor to the group. Marks is also the co-founder and co-chairman of Oaktree Capital Management, a global investment firm specializing in alternative investment strategies. Since 2019, Oaktree Capital has been majority owned by Brookfield Asset Management, one of the world’s largest alternative asset manager.[1][14][15][16][17]

TCK provides investment advisory and management services to domestic Korean clients, with investments diversified across multiple asset classes in public and private markets over the long term.[2][14] TCK was among the early firms in Korea to introduce the multi-family office model, providing wealth management services to affluent private clients and family-led enterprises.[4][5]

In October 2021, the firm obtained an asset management license in Korea, enabling it to manage privately placed funds for qualified professional investors. Following this milestone, the company changed its legal name to Topor & Co. Korea Asset Management.[6]

In January 2023, TCK participated in a Financial Services Commission policy briefing, following an invitation from the presidential office, on initiatives to develop South Korea as a financial hub in Asia.[18]
