Kid Omni-Man was born Oliver Grayson II, on the fictional planet Thraxa. He was born with purple skin, as his mother's species isn't as compatible with Viltrumites as humans are. As a baby, his parents, Nolan and Andressa, sent him to Earth, with the help of his half-brother, Mark, shortly before Thraxa was invaded and destroyed. He was adopted by Debbie Grayson, who named him Oliver.
He developed his powers at the age of ten, and because of his Viltrumite heritage from his father, his physical abilities closely resemble those of other Viltrumites.[2] Oliver is voiced by Max Burkholder and Christian Convery in the 2021 Amazon television series.

Fictional biography
In Invincible Comics #26 (2005), Kid Omni-Man is born on an alien planet to Nolan Grayson and Andressa, a Thraxan species that resembles Bug. He was born with purple skin because his mother’s species was less genetically compatible with Viltrumites than humans are.[3] Shortly after he is born, his planet is destroyed in an invasion by two Viltrumite warriors, Lucan and Thula, who arrived on the planet to arrest his father Nolan,[4] but his father foresaw the calamity and saved his baby son by sending him to Earth in a small spaceship when Andressa told him she would not live much longer, with the help of his half-brother.[5]
Nolan fights off the attackers with Mark accompanying him, both of them attempting to defend the planet. A month later, Oliver is moved to live with his older brother, Mark, and their mother, Debbie Grayson.[4]
Oliver is raised by Debbie and has him look up to Mark, who starts training him on what his powers are and what his destiny is. Oliver is dubbed Kid Omni-Man and fights alongside his brother in the protection of Earth from otherworldly and interstellar aggressors. As there is more improvement, Oliver gains confidence in his powers and joins the larger community of superheroes.
Along the way, he takes on a new identity, Young Omni-Man, moving beyond the shadow of his father and working to define what being a hero is for himself. While he does what his father has done, Oliver operates on his own definition of morality and justice and works to carve out his own destiny.[6]
Powers and abilities
As a half-Viltrumite Oliver possesses powers similar to his father and brother such as superhuman strength, speed, stamina, and endurance. However, due to his mother’s species not being as compatible with Viltrumites as Humans, he is weaker than most other members of his race.
He also inherited photographic memory [7] from his Thraxan mother, as well as increased aging, though this begins to slow as he ages as his father’s Viltrumite genes take over.
His viltrumite heritage also grants him an increased healing factor, allowing him to recover from wounds that would otherwise be fatal for most other living creatures, as well as making him immune to most diseases.
