Pearl Choudhary (born 18 February 1976) is an Indian politician and lawyer associated with the Indian National Congress (INC). She has served as the President of the Haryana Pradesh Mahila Congress since 22 February 2026.[1][2]

Early life and education
Choudhary was born on 18 February 1976.[3] She is the daughter of Bhupinder Chaudhary, a senior Dalit leader in Haryana who was elected as a Member of the Haryana Legislative Assembly from Pataudi constituency in 2005 as a candidate of the Indian National Congress, winning by a margin of 8,600 votes.[4] His victory marked the first time since 1982 that the Congress had won the Pataudi assembly seat.[5]
She completed a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Miranda House, University of Delhi in 1996, followed by a Master of Science in Physics in 1998. She later obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi in 2001.[6]
Political career
Choudhary has been active in Congress party politics in Haryana.
During the 2024 Haryana Legislative Assembly election campaign, media reports highlighted her grassroots outreach efforts in the Pataudi constituency.[7]
In the 2024 Haryana Legislative Assembly election, the Indian National Congress nominated Choudhary as its candidate from the Pataudi (SC) constituency.[8] She received 32.93% of the vote in the constituency.[9]
In the previous Haryana Assembly elections in the Pataudi constituency, the Congress secured 11.69% of the vote in 2014 and 13.84% in 2019.[10]
On 22 February 2026, she was appointed President of the Haryana Pradesh Mahila Congress.[11]
