Petros Papadopoulos is a Greek-Cypriot lawyer and author, born in Limassol, Cyprus in 1997[1]. Petros studied Law at Cambridge University, graduating with a BA (Hons) and subsequently with an MA (Cantab)[1][2][3]. He later pursued postgraduate studies at the Geneva Graduate Institute, graduating with an LLM in International Law[1][2][3].


At the age of sixteen, Petros Papadopoulos wrote and published the historical novel "Matomena Oneira", (in English 'Bloodstained Dreams') which deals with the 1974 Turkish invasion of Cyprus[4][5]. In 2025, Petros Papadopoulos' new historical novel, "Eisvoli 1570" (in English 'Invasion 1570'), was released, in which the author Petros Papadopoulos deals with the period of the Ottoman invasion of Venetian-occupied Cyprus in 1570 and the siege of Famagusta[6][7].

Petros was an active activist in the movement for the repatriation of the Parthenon sculptures back to Greece[8][9][10][11][12]. He is very vocal about current political and social affairs, publishing his opinion articles in the Cypriot press quite often[13][14] [15][16].
