Plintron was founded in 2008 as a mobile virtual network operators (MVNO) business-to-business supporting company.[2]
In July 2018, Plintron partnered with BSNL and AeroVoyce to launch a pan-India MVNO service.[6]
As of 2025, the company operates in 28 countries and is the largest mobile virtual network aggregator (MVNA).[2][7][8]
