Draft:Pro Wrestling Symphony

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pro Wrestling Symphony, often referred to simply as PWS[1] or Symphony, is an American independent professional wrestling promotion, founded on May 20, 2024, by Connor Casey, Pat Dooley, and Rory Miller. On June 1, 2025, Symphony held their self-titled debut show[2] at Brooklyn Bowl[3] in Nashville, with individual matches posted to the promotion's YouTube page beginning June 16[4], and the entire show posted to independentwrestling.tv on August 14[5]. Since then, the promotion has run monthly events, all of which are available on both their YouTube and IWTV pages. In keeping with the name, many Symphony events are named for iconic songs, lyrics, or musical albums (such as The Killers' "Hot Fuss," System of a Down's "Toxicity," and Gorillaz' "Demon Days").

History

On May 2, 2025, Pro Wrestling Symphony' self-titled debut event was announced via press release[15]. The event took place June 1, 2025. The initial event was main evented by local wrestler "The Code" Colby Carter vs. former WWE star Donovan Dijak, a match won by Carter[16].

At the first event of 2026 (February 1, Sweet Victory), Carter was crowned the first Symphony Men's Champion when he defeated Tim Bosby and Shane Mercer in the semifinals and finals of an ongoing tournament[17]. The following month (March 8, Undeniable), Freya the Slaya became the first Symphony Women's Champion when she defeated Jazzy Yang and Kaia McKenna in the semifinals and finals of an ongoing tournament.[18]

On April 11, 2026, rather than their typical monthly event, Symphony is co-promoting matches at the East Nashville Beer Festival with ACTION Wrestling and TWE Chattanooga, kicking off Symphony's 2026 "tour" of Nashville events, with subsequent events at Music City Fit Expo (June 6) and a block party held at 6th & Peabody (July 11)[19].
