History

ProcurePro was founded in Brisbane in 2021 by Alastair Blenkin, Tom Newby, Nathan Dench, Jesse Dymond and Tim Rogers, who had backgrounds in law, construction management, enterprise software development and product design.[3][2]

Early coverage described the platform as software intended to replace manual administrative processes in construction procurement workflows.[4][5] Reported early users included builders such as Roberts & Co., Hansen Yuncken, Richard Crookes Construction, AW Edwards, and Hutchinson Builders.[6]

In January 2024, ProcurePro raised A$6.15 million in a Series A funding round led by AirTree Ventures and Saniel Ventures, with expansion into the United Kingdom cited as a planned use of funds.[2][7]

Expansion and operations

Following the Series A raise, co-founders Tim Rogers and Alastair Blenkin relocated to the United Kingdom to oversee expansion efforts.[2] In October 2024, construction industry publication PBC Today reported that ProcurePro had surpassed £25 billion in construction project value processed through the platform and was handling around 1,000 contracts per month.[6]

The same article listed UK users, including Mount Anvil, Legacie Developments and Kori Construction and quoted Blenkin as saying the company had secured venture funding to enter a new market and was addressing delays in UK construction procurement workflows.[6]

Product

ProcurePro provides a cloud-based procurement platform for head contractors. Coverage has described the software as supporting tendering, contract creation, and vendor management functions for construction procurement.[8]
