Qaseem Haider Qaseem (born 26 January 1987) is an Indian poet and lyricist known for his work in Urdu poetry and independent music projects.
Early life
Career
Qaseem moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in writing and acting. He initially worked as a ghostwriter in the entertainment industry before transitioning into lyric writing.[3][4]
He began his acting career with a role in the DD National television show Kahin Der Na Ho Jaye.[5]
After facing difficulties in securing major roles, he shifted focus towards music videos, which he described as a significant platform for emerging actors.[5] Qaseem has written lyrics for songs such as "Bekarar Mahi", "Sambhal Jao", "Tajjub Hai", and "Arziyaan".[6][7] He was also associated with the song "Snowfall".[8] He collaborated with composer and singer Nitesh Tiwari on the song "Tu Meri", for which he wrote the lyrics.[9]
He also contributed as a lyricist and appeared in the music video "Hhasrat", which crossed over 2 million views on YouTube and trended among the top 10 songs on social media platforms.[10]
