RVMP has headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, and a research, development, and distribution facility in Elkhart, Indiana.[3]
History
RVMP’s CEO Jimmy Conroy II had a background in the RV industry, including prior experience as an executive for Lippert, a subsidiary of LCI Industries.[4] He founded RVMP in 2017, and the company began operations in 2018.[5]
The initial business focus was the design and manufacture of onboard inverter generators for RV OEMs.[6] RVMP sold its first generator model, the Flex Power® 4000i, to Way Interglobal in 2021.[7]
Later in 2021, RVMP introduced additional product lines under the Flex Temp® and Flex Power® Force brands. These included the Flex Temp® On-Demand Tankless Water Heater and the Flex Power® Force LiFePO4 Lithium Battery line.[8] The lithium battery products were later discontinued.
During this period, RVMP also operated RVMP Solar™, a solar panel reselling initiative, and resold certain Flex Power® Force products.
In 2022, RVMP reported the growth of the Flex Power® 4000i and expanded its product offerings to include portable inverter generators ranging from 2,200 watts to 9,000 watts. The company also began development of an additional onboard generator model, the Flex Power® 5500i, which launched in early 2023.[9][10]
In 2023, RVMP acquired the assets and ongoing operations of NxtGen Power LLC, an Elkhart, Indiana-based RV OEM distributor that had supported the sales and distribution of RVMP’s dual-fuel generators.[11][12] Following the acquisition, NxtGen Power’s staff joined RVMP, expanding the company’s logistics and product development operations.[13]
Flex Security® Division
In late 2023, RVMP began research and development on a mobile security trailer.[14] Between late 2023 and mid-2024, the company continued development and established a second business division, Flex Security®, alongside Flex Power®.[15]
Flex Security® launched its first product, ALPHA™, in late 2024.[16]
The product line was later expanded to include the ALPHA, ALPHA APEX, ALPHA SIGHT, ALPHA SIGHT MAX, ALPHA FLIGHT, BRAVO, and BRAVO MAX models. These systems combine mobile surveillance equipment with solar power systems and backup power generation using RVMP generators.
Products
Generators
Early Flex Power® generator models, including the 4000i, 5500i, and 2800i, were carbureted dual-fuel generators compliant with California Air Resources Board Small Off-Road Engine (CARB SORE) regulations.[17][18] These models were later discontinued.[19]
In 2025, RVMP introduced electronically fuel-injected (EFI), non-carbureted models to replace the “i” series: the Flex Power® 4000e, 5500e, and 2800e.[20] These generators comply with CARB SORE regulations.
The RVMP Flex Power® line includes various portable inverter generators (2200i, 3300i, 3300ies, and 4500ies).[21][22] Some models include dual-fuel capabilities, electric start, and advanced safety features. All models comply with CARB SORE regulations.
In 2025, the company also announced the Flex Power® 4000e Mini (4000em), a compact EFI 4,000-watt generator.[23]
Other Products
RVMP has also produced or distributed other products, including tankless water heaters and lithium battery systems.[24] Some lithium battery offerings were later discontinued.
Operations
The company increased its operational footprint as it has expanded. RVMP has a 40,000-square-foot facility in Columbus, Ohio, that houses technology and marketing operations and a headquarters office in downtown Columbus.[25][26]
RVMP consolidated multiple facilities in Elkhart, Indiana, into a single location with approximately 118,530 square feet.[27]
Business Performance
RVMP reported growth in sales and revenue in the mid-2020s.[28]
In August 2023, the company reported monthly sales of approximately 1,500 to 1,600 installed generators.[29]
In January 2025, company leadership reported annual growth exceeding 300 percent.[30]
In November 2025, a company sales manager reported original equipment manufacturer (OEM) division sales of approximately $4.5 million per month.[31]
