History

Racoma began as a collaboration between songwriter and vocalist Glenn Haider and guitarist Sean Collopy, who met while working together at an Apple Store in Seattle in 2016. Spencer Templeman later joined the group on drums.[3]

The band self-released their debut album, This Front Room, in 2020.[4] The album was reviewed by music publications including Going Left and Diversal.[5][6] The single The Kicker from the album was included on a 2019 list of selected entries to the Tiny Desk Contest series in NPR's All Songs Considered.[7]

The group recorded their second album, Good a Place as Any, at Forest Recorders in northern Washington. Racoma released its third album, In Vine, in 2024.[8]
