Stimpson received the BMI Nashville Songwriting Scholarship in 2019 while attending Belmont University.[2]
Early life and education
Stimpson was born in Virginia and later relocated to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a career in songwriting and recording.[3]
He attended Belmont University, where he studied songwriting and music business. During his time at Belmont he received the BMI Nashville Songwriting Scholarship, recognizing emerging songwriting talent.[2]

Stimpson began releasing music independently in the early 2020s while building an audience through streaming platforms and social media.[4]
His work has been described as a modern reinterpretation of 1980s pop-rock, combining retro-inspired instrumentation with contemporary songwriting.[1]
