Routes
In July 2021, Reinalyn Bus Lines became one of the bus operators participating in the government’s public transport rationalization program on the then–Route 14 (Ayala–Alabang). As part of the modernization of fare collection and COVID-19 safety measures, the TRIPKO cashless payment system was introduced on the route, allowing commuters to pay fares using a reloadable smart card instead of cash.[1]
Issues and criticisms
In February 2019, a Reinalyn Bus Lines bus lost control due to brake failure while traveling on the Lawton–Alabang route, colliding with five vehicles along Alabang–Zapote Road in Las Piñas. The incident, captured in multiple dashcam videos, involved a Toyota Corolla, two Mitsubishi Mirages, and two Mitsubishi Monteros. No serious injuries were reported, but minor injuries occurred. Reinalyn Bus Lines pledged to cover the damages caused by the accident.[2]
