Career
Gollestani partnered with the Emmy-winning Mark Burnett Productions on several reality TV series, including The Contender[1] and the Challenger Muay Thai, The Apartment, and The World's Toughest Race featuring Bear Grylls. His producing credits include the feature film Killer Movie, starring Kaley Cuoco and Paul Wesley, as well as the 2024 Asian TV HBO series The Challenger: Battleground.[2]
Gollestani is known for his work on the short film A September to Remember, which has garnered awards and festival selections such as the Independent Shorts Awards,[3] the Los Angeles Film and Documentary Awards,[4] the Prague Independent Film Festival,[5] the International New York Film Festival,[6] and he was a grand winner in the 2025 World Film Festival in Cannes.[7]
Following his appointment as head of production for FOX Television, Sam moved to Singapore and Hong Kong, where he was in charge of original content development across Asia.[8] Sam Gollestani's job is to be the executive producer of Asia's Next Top Model.[9] He also discussed filmmaking with a magazine.[10]
