Career
Generative AI and robotics
Khoze worked as a film producer in West Hollywood, California before beginning to represent humanoid robots developed by Professor Hiroshi Ishiguro at Osaka University and the Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International (ATR) in Japan.
In 2020, Khoze produced and co-wrote b, a science fiction film in which the lead role was filled by Erica, a humanoid robot built by Ishiguro Lab, Kyoto University, and ATR.[1][2][3][4] Khoze worked with Erica on set to develop her performance, stating: "Erica has no life experiences. She was created from scratch to play the role. We had to simulate her motions and emotions through one-on-one sessions."[5]
In 2021 and 2022, Khoze represented the Alter 3 robot at Expo 2020 Dubai, where it performed as a conductor with a live orchestra. Alter 3 was developed by Professor Hiroshi Ishiguro and composer Keiichiro Shibuya.[6][7][8]
In January 2023, Khoze presented XOXE, a humanoid robot co-developed with Professor Hiroshi Ishiguro, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The robot was reported to detect human anxiety through facial and body language analysis and to communicate in over 120 languages.[9]
Advertising
In 2024, Khoze served as AI tech director for a generative AI advertising campaign for Starburst, produced for Mars Wrigley. The campaign used generative AI to create over 300 video and image assets. It was reported on by Ad Age[10] and Marketing Dive.[11]
CrowdGen AI
Khoze founded CrowdGen AI, an enterprise AI infrastructure company. Its ALEXIS platform includes two products: Engine, a hierarchical cognition engine for routing AI inference requests, and Verifier, a fact-checking layer that checks AI outputs against external evidence sources and produces audit records. The company has received support from the Microsoft Accelerator Program, Stanford University, Google for Startups, and Amazon Web Services. It has been featured in Forbes and was recognized at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
