Scott Daniel Wozniak (born June 2, 1997)[‡ 1] is an American comedian YouTuber. He is best known for creating and starring in the gaming comedy review web series Scott the Woz, wherein the title character analyzes a video-game related topic. Wozniak early work consisted of creating web series and web content, including WozniakNews and The Internet and You. Since 2019 Wozniak would help with philanthropic efforts, in collaboration with the gaming print on demand company Pixel Empire.

Life and education

Wozniak was raised in Whitehouse, Ohio.[1] As a child, Wozniak uploaded videos to YouTube under the brand WozniakNews. They were based on his own creations, such as short stories, comics, and drawings.[‡ 2] Wozniak returned to content creation when he was still attending Anthony Wayne High School.[1] In his senior year of high school with The Internet and You, a 30 minute comedy YouTube video released in 2016.[2] Wozniak currently lives in Waterville, Ohio.[3]

In 2017, Wozniak started uploading to the Scott the Woz YouTube channel, and by 2018 the channel hit 100,000 subscribers.[4] Scott The Woz was broadcast on the 2021 revival of TV network G4.[5] The series was also featured on Pluto TV's G4 Select since March 2022.[6] Scott the Woz has received largely positive reception.[1]

Philanthropy

From 2019 to 2022, Wozniak sold limited-edition merchandise, including officially licensed Scott the Woz editions of Monopoly and Clue, in collaboration with gaming print on demand company Pixel Empire. With all proceeds combined, collectively raising over $1 million, and were donated to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.[1][7][8]

Wozniak then donated $203,522 of his own money to the aforementioned charities. He also donated $16,000 across 5 donations to CMN hospitals.[9] On June 6, 2025, Nintendo approached Wozniak about sending him a Nintendo Switch 2 console as a review copy for free. Instead of declining the offer Wozniak would donated the Nintendo Switch 2 to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital, just one day after the console released.[1]

Influences and style

When questioned about his Influences and style, Wozniak has said that "it’s a mix of lots of different styles of humor I suppose." With some styles including completely dry, sarcasm and absurdism. Wozniak said "If something makes me laugh, I’ll throw it in the script."[2]
