Sergo Kibus (previously known as Sergei Kibus; born 22 May 1987) is an Estonian animation director, screenwriter, and cinematographer. He and his wife, Kadriann Kibus, founded the animation and film studio Rebel Frame.[1]

Career
From 2010 to 2018, Sergo Kibus worked at Nukufilm. Since 2019, he has worked at Rebel Frame, producing animated and documentary films.[2] He has also taught animation and scriptwriting at the Estonian Academy of Arts, and photography and video editing at Tallinn School of Economics (2017–2020).[3]
His directorial debut in animation was the stop-motion claymation short Teofrastus (2019, Nukufilm), based on Astrid Reinla's book.[4] In 2022, he directed the stop-motion horror short The Undertaker for a Canadian anthology.[5] His upcoming film Schrödinger won at the Baltic Pitching Forum 2021[3], participated in EURO CONNECTION 2022 at the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival[6] and also in the 15th edition of the WEMW Co-Production Forum.[7]
