Education
George holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Orthodontics. He also completed a Master of Science in Aligner Orthodontics from the University of Turin, Italy.[3]
Career
George has practised orthodontics in Oman for over two decades, with a focus on orthodontic treatment for children and adults.[1] He became a certified Invisalign provider in 2011.[1] According to the Oman Observer, he has treated more than 12,000 orthodontic cases.[3] He has also been involved as a clinical speaker with Align Technology.[3]
Wassan Specialty Dental Centre
Wassan Specialty Dental Centre was established in Muscat in 2003 and initially operated with two treatment units focused on general dentistry.[2] By 2017, the clinic had expanded to eight treatment units offering specialist services.[2] In October 2025, the centre opened an expanded facility in Al Khuwair with 15 treatment rooms and a clinical training space called the Smile Academy.[4]

George contributed a clinical case to Atlas of Aligner Treatment and Planning, an academic publication edited by Ravindra Nanda, Tommaso Castroflorio, and Francesco Garino.[3]
Recognition
In March 2024, George received the Clinical Excellence Award from the European Board of Aligner Orthodontics at the 5th European Aligner Society Congress in Valencia, Spain. According to the Oman Observer, he was the first orthodontist from the Middle East to receive this distinction.[1]
In September 2025, George received the Apex Award and Leading Star Award at Invisalign's global recognition event, and delivered a session on the Invisalign Palatal Expander.[3]
In 2024, George received the Best Orthodontic Case (Children) award at the Aesthetic Dentistry MENA Awards, an annual regional dental awards programme administered by CAPP Events & Training, with winners selected by an independent judging panel.[5]
