Sitaram Sharma

Sitaram Sharma is the honorary consul of the Republic of Belarus in Kolkata.[1] He holds additional (vice) chairing positions in the Indian Federation of United Nations Associations, the Centre for Eastern and North Eastern Regional Studies, and the Tagore Institute for Peace Studies.[1] He has previously worked at the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, and the World Federation of United Nations Associations.[1] His involvement in social organisations and his presence in the diplomatic corps in Kolkata have earned him various nominations and awards from both domestic and foreign governments.[2]

He has also written books on the United Nations[1], including his most recent publication on changes in West Bengal.[3]
