Stephen Dasko is a Canadian municipal politician serving as the City Councillor for Ward 1 in Mississauga, Ontario, representing the communities of Lakeview, Port Credit, Mineola, Applewood Acres, Sherway Heights, and Orchard Heights.[1] He also serves on Peel Regional Council and was first elected in 2018, and re‑elected in 2022.
Dasko has received independent media attention for his role in municipal governance, infrastructure development, environmental policy, road safety, and urban planning debates in Mississauga. In 2024, he was a candidate in the Mississauga mayoral by‑election following Bonnie Crombie’s departure from municipal politics.
