History
Success Assured was developed by Targeted Converegence to support the company's workshops and training programs in "Learning-First Product Development."[4][5] The software implements set-based concurrent engineering (SBCE) practices derived from the Toyota Production System.[6]
The software provides a visual, non-spreadsheet interface for modelling and trade studies. Main applications include systems engineering, product and process development, multidisciplinary design optimization, risk management, and failure mode and effects analysis.[2]
In December 2025, NASA awarded Targeted Convergence a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract to explore potential applications of the software in mission design modeling for aerospace engineering.[1]
Sandia National Laboratories has used Success Assured in the development of thermal battery design models.[6] The work was presented at the 49th Power Sources Conference in 2023.[6]
