Sujata Sharma is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2006 batch from the Andhra Pradesh cadre. She is serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India.

Career
Sharma has served as District Collector of Prakasam district, Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Taxes in Hyderabad, Additional Chief Electoral Officer of Andhra Pradesh, Special Commissioner for Collegiate Education and Technical Education, and Special Commissioner for Health and Family Welfare. She also served on inter-cadre deputation in Uttar Pradesh, where she was Secretary, Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department, and Managing Director of PICUP.[1]
In May 2024, she was appointed Government Nominee Director on the Board of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL).[2]
Education
Sharma holds a Master's degree in Botany, a Law degree, and a Ph.D. in Botany.[3]
