A Free Press Journal profile described Mungee as a ghazal and bhajan performer and reported that he was invited to obtain United States citizenship under a "world music" category.[4]
Early life and training
Mungee trained under vocalist Jitendra Abhisheki, a recipient of the Padma Shri, through the traditional Guru–shishya tradition of Indian classical music.[5]
