Terrence Brown (born January 1, 2005) is a college basketball player for the Utah Utes. He formerly played for the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights.

High school career

Brown attended Columbia Heights High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a senior, he averaged 22.8 points, 5.1 assists, and 3 steals per game. He helped his team to a 23-1 record.[1] Brown was named the Tri-Metro Conference Player of the Year.[2]

College carrer

FDU (Fairleigh Dickinson)

Brown made his FDU debut on November 6, 2023. As a true freshman he appeared in all 32 games for the Knights and started in 17.[3] Brown averaged 7.8 points, 2.2 assists, and 2.9 rebounds in 21.8 minutes per game.[4] Brown was named to the Northeast Conference (NEC) All-Rookie Team.

In his sophomore season, Brown averaged 20.6 points, 3.2 assists, and 5.6 rebounds per game. His 20.6 points per contest led the NEC and ranked him eigth in NCAA Division I.[5] Brown also led the NEC in steals with 2.2 per game.[4] He scored 658 total points and was named the NEC Player of the Week three times.[3] Brown was named the NEC Most Improved Player and First-Team All-NEC.[6][7] Following the season, Brown entered the NCAA Transfer Portal. On April 4, 2025, Brown committed to play for the Utah Utes.[8]

Utah

As a junior, Brown played and started in 32 games. He averaged 19.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game for the Utes. His 19.9 points per game and 636 total points finished third in the Big 12.[4]
