History

The band was formed in 2016 by Benny Brown and Nigel Bourn, who soon approached Peter Nixon and Peter Allan as the starting lineup. Initially gaining popularity in the Southern Vales region of South Australia, the group's lineup expanded after finding additional members Tim Frears and Geo Heathcote at the Groove Garden in McLaren Vale.

The band gained significant recognition by winning the Adelaide Roots and Blues Association's Memphis Blues Challenge in 2022, which qualified them for the 2023 international competition in the United States. In Memphis, they performed at legendary Beale Street venues and eventually, the Orpheum Theatre, finishing in the top six globally in the band category.[4] An article was published in the Adelaide "Sunday Mail" newspaper on Sunday Feburary 5 2023 while the band were still in the USA [5]

The band's first release received notable reviews including US based magazines Steel Notes[6] and Blues Blast Magazine.[7]
