The Sportschosun (Korean: 스포츠조선) is a South Korean daily newspaper. Founded on 21 March 1990 by Bang Woo-young, the former honorary chairman of the Chosun Ilbo company, it primarily covers domestic and international sports, entertainment, and leisure news.[1]

Sportschosun is notable for organizing the Blue Dragon Film Awards, one of South Korea's most prestigious annual film awards ceremonies, which the newspaper has hosted since the event resumed in 1990.[2] In 2022, the newspaper also established and organized the Blue Dragon Series Awards to recognize excellence in television and streaming platform series.[3]
