UK underground rap (also known as UK underground or UK UG) is a music scene and style of UK rap that emerged in the United Kingdom during the late 2010s and early 2020s. The scene was largely inspired by American underground and internet trap-based music genres such as cloud rap, plugg, rage and jerk.
