History
The USD Basketball Performance Center opened alongside the Palomar Health student wellness center in April 2025. The 28,000 square-foot facility was constructed in the same 16th-century Spanish Renaissance architecture as the University of San Diego's campus. The facility cost $35 million to construct.
Men's Basketball Coach Steve Lavin and Women's Basketball Coach Blanche Alverson served as the coaches for the facility's inaugural 2025-26 season.
