Univest was incorporated in 2022 under the name Univest Communication Technologies Private Limited (CIN: U67190HR2022PTC102061). The company initially focused on providing equity research and investment advisory services to retail investors through SEBI-registered entities.
In December 2024, Univest raised $10 million in a funding round led by Bertelsmann India Investments (BII), bringing its total funding to approximately $30 million.[1]
