History

Founding and early growth

Univision Computers was founded in 1989 by Jim Green and Alex Fleig in Missoula, Montana.[3] Green has stated the company claims to be the oldest continuously owned IT firm in Montana.[4]

In 2015, the company constructed a new 10,000-square-foot, US$1.5 million headquarters on Stockyard Road in Missoula.[5]

Merger and expansion (2018)

In 2018, Univision Computers merged with Techmon Consulting LLC, a technology services firm owned by Evan Monson. Monson subsequently joined the company as Chief Technology Officer and Partner.[6] Monson holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security from Colorado Technical University and a Certified Ethical Hacker credential from EC-Council University.[7]

Washington office (2024)

In June 2024, Univision Computers opened a new office in Liberty Lake, Washington, in the eastern Spokane metropolitan area. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on June 5, 2024, in collaboration with Greater Spokane Incorporated, a regional economic development organization representing businesses across Spokane County and the Inland Northwest.[8]

Montana service expansion (2026)

In February 2026, Univision Computers announced an expanded managed IT services program targeting small and mid-sized businesses across its Montana service region, including co-managed IT options for organizations with existing internal IT staff.[9]

Florida expansion (2026)

On February 24, 2026, Univision Computers announced the opening of a new office in DeLand, Florida, extending its services into Central Florida and Volusia County.[10] The announcement was syndicated across multiple Gannett publications, including the Des Moines Register, the Cincinnati Enquirer, and MetroWest Daily News.[11][12][13]

Univision Computers provides managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud computing, VoIP telephony, data backup and disaster recovery, and business process automation to small and medium-sized businesses.[14][15]

Its business process automation services are built on the Microsoft Power Platform, encompassing Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power Apps, and Microsoft Power BI.[16]

Monson has noted in regional press that the company manages over 6,000 endpoints across sectors including healthcare, finance, manufacturing, education, and government.[17]
