Vicki Mack Lataillade (born February 27, 1954) is an American record executive, producer, and entrepreneur best known as the co-founder of GospoCentric Records. Through GospoCentric and its imprint B-Rite Music, she helped introduce contemporary gospel to mainstream audiences and launched the careers of artists such as Kirk Franklin, Trin-i-tee 5:7, and Kurt Carr.

Early life
Lataillade was born in San Mateo, California, to Edwin Mack and Claire Mack, who later became mayor of San Mateo.[1]
Career
Early career
Lataillade began her career in the music industry in 1977 at RCA Records and later worked with Light Records and Sparrow Records.[2]
Founding GospoCentric Records
In 1992, Lataillade and her husband Claude Lataillade founded GospoCentric Records in Inglewood, California.[3]
The label gained prominence with the signing of Kirk Franklin, whose debut album became one of the best-selling gospel releases of its era.[4]
Expansion and partnerships
The company later launched B-Rite Music and entered into a partnership with Interscope Records.[5]
GospoCentric was eventually acquired by the Zomba Label Group.
Recognition
Lataillade and Claude Lataillade received the Living Legends Foundation’s Gospel Music Executive Award in 2015.[6]
She was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Black Business Association in 2019.[7]
She was featured in the PBS docuseries Gospel (2024).[8]
