Walnut-stuffed prunes or Prunes with nuts, is a dessert made from prunes and walnuts, popular in the Post-Soviet states.[1]. The dessert is common in Ukrainian [2][3], Moldovan [4], and Caucasian [5] cuisine, probably according with distribution of walnuts and corresponding plum varieties. This dish is also considered part of Jewish-Cuisine of Odesa[6][7].

Preparation
Washed prunes covering with boiling water, or boil a little bit. Then stuff them with walnut halves, pack them tightly into a bowl, sprinkle with sugar, add water and/or dry red wine, which adds more flavor[8], and stew it. Before serving, cool and drown with sour cream. In simpler recipes, the nut-stuffed prunes are topped with sweetened sour cream and leave it for soaking[9][10]
