I wish to disclose, what I now recognize to be, a conflict of interest. Dr. Jeremy Stolow was my PhD supervisor until 2023. As I concluded this degree three years ago, and chose to produce this entry of my own volition and out of respect for the scholar, it did not occur to me that I would need to declare this previous relationship. I request some peer review assistance in ensuring that the page I am producing is up to specs and written in a neutral tone. Indeed, I now worry about potentially causing him some embarrassment in my desire to establish this page. As I await an outside perspective, I will continue to improve the draft to the best of my abilities. Thanks for your help. Infofilly (talk) 18:57, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
The three best sources that establish notability of the subject
Since my initially submission, I have made multiple improvements to the page. Most importantly, I have added multiple secondary sources that help establish the notability. The three I wish to draw you attention to are:
1. A recent roundtable at The Warburg Institute: "Picturing Aura: A Visual Biography." October 16, 2025. https://warburg.sas.ac.uk/news-events/videos-podcasts/picturing-aura-visual-biography
2. An interview at Princeton University: Princeton University. "Picturing the Human Religion and the Public Conversation with Jeremy Stolow." In conversation with Connor Martini (Princeton University). February 12, 2026. https://csr.princeton.edu/events/2026/rpc-stolow
3. An interview with Stolow on CBC's Spark: "Religion, Spirituality, Magic...and Technology: An Interview with Jeremy Stolow." October 18, 2013. CBC's Spark. Host: Nora Young. https://www.cbc.ca/radio/spark/religion-spirituality-magic-and-technology-1.2847923
I think the page now meets WP:NPROF criteria
1. The person's research has had a significant impact in their scholarly discipline, broadly construed, as demonstrated by independent reliable sources that are listed in the Wikipedia entry and some, reiterated above.
2. In 2025, his book, Picturing Aura, won the Parapsychological Association Book Award.
3. Among other visiting appointments, Stolow was a Fellow at the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study in Amsterdam (in 2017-2018) and a Fellow at the Paris Institute for Advanced Study (in 2025-2026).
Thanks for your consideration!
