The Drift (ドリフト, Dorifuto) film series consist of street racing films produced by Geneon Universal Entertainment released between 2006 and 2008. All the films are set on racing touge roads.[citation needed]
The first two films, Drift and Drift 2, were released in close succession in 2006.[1][2] The plot involves an ex-boxer (Kashichika Kashiwabara) who starts racing on public roads to get revenge for the crash that killed his wife and child.[3] The first two films also star Ayaka Komatsu.[1][2] Yuya Endo appears in the first film.[1]
