Dugesia annandalei is a species of dugesiid planarian that is native to Myanmar. It is a species of freshwater flatworm, commonly known for their simple body structure and remarkable ability to regenerate lost body parts.[1] It is named after a Scottish Zoologist Nelson Annandale, Dugesia annandalei is a lesser-known species within the diverse genus Dugesia, which includes many species distributed worldwide.
