Duru (Kurdish: Garisî; Syriac: Kūrīšā)[1] is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Silvan, Diyarbakır Province in Turkey.[2] It is populated by Kurds and had a population of 34 in 2022.[3][4]

History
Kūrīšā (today called Duru) was historically inhabited by Syriac Orthodox Christians.[1] In the Syriac Orthodox patriarchal register of dues of 1870, it was recorded that the village had thirteen households, who paid forty-seven dues, and did not have a church or a priest.[1]
