Dyakonovo (Russian: Дьяконово) is a rural locality (Russian: село, lit. 'village') and the administrative center of Dyakonovsky Selsoviet Rural Settlement, Oktyabrsky District, Kursk Oblast, Russia. Population: 4,322 (2021 census);[9] 3,906 (2010 census);[2] 4,125 (2002 census);[10]

Geography
The village is located on the Vorobzha River (a left tributary of the Seym River), 68 km from the Russia–Ukraine border, 17 km south-west of Kursk, 2 km west of the district center – the urban-type settlement Pryamitsyno.[11]

Dyakonovo is located on the roads of regional importance 38K-017 (Kursk – Lgov – Rylsk – border with Ukraine) and 38K-004 (Dyakonovo – Sudzha – border with Ukraine), on the roads of intermunicipal significance 38H-073 (Dyakonovo – Starkovo – Sokolovka) and 38H-078 (38K-004 – a part of a selo Dyakonovo: 4th Okolotok),[12] 3.5 km from the nearest railway station Dyakonovo[13] (railway line Lgov I — Kursk).
The rural locality is situated 29 km from Kursk Vostochny Airport, 117 km from Belgorod International Airport and 230 km from Voronezh Peter the Great Airport.
