The e-Clearance for Afterlife Remains (e-CARe) is an Indian government portal.[1][2] It was established to conduct clearance procedures electronically to ensure timely transportation of human remains across international borders, for public and their families in India.[3] It is owned and operated by the International Health Division of the Ministry of Health.
It was established in October 2023, by Mansukh Mandaviya, minister of health at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in India..[4]
